JOB DESCRIPTION
Studio & Operations Lead
LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands

ABOUT
Glass Creative Studio is the exclusive European publisher of VICE and operates in close partnership with the US VICE partner Savage ventures.
We produce work that sits at the intersection of culture, brand, and media, working with clients and partners who want to reach audiences that matter. Our projects range from branded content and editorial to large-scale event productions and influencer platforms.
We are a small, ambitious team based in Amsterdam. We move quickly, we take our work seriously, and we care about the culture we build together. We celebrate what we achieve, we invest in the people who make it possible, and we have a lot of fun doing it.
This role is an opportunity to grow with us at a moment when the studio is expanding significantly. The right person will not just support that growth, they will help define how it happens.

Job Description
Are you a connector, an organiser, and a creative professional all in one? Do you get energy from being the person everyone turns to, from building the systems that make ambitious work possible, and from being embedded in the cultural and creative heartbeat of Amsterdam? Then this role at Glass Creative Studio is made for you.
Glass Creative Studio is the exclusive European publisher of VICE and operates in close partnership with the US VICE partner Savage ventures.
We work at the intersection of media, brand strategy, content production, and cultural programming. Our projects span editorial, events, influencer platforms, and branded content, and we move fast, work lean, and produce at a high level.
We are looking for a Studio and Operations Lead to join us full time, in office, as the central figure who keeps everything moving and everyone aligned. This is not a background role. You will be visible, present, and essential.
Key Responsibilities
Process and Operations
-
Developing, implementing, and continuously improving internal processes across production, editorial, client management, and project delivery.
-
Building systems that bring structure and scalability to a fast-growing, multi-project studio environment.
-
Managing studio planning, resource allocation, and workflow coordination across concurrent projects and client accounts.
-
Translating strategic goals into operational reality, ensuring that tools, processes, and people are always in sync.
The Spider in the Web
-
Serving as the central point of contact within the studio, the person every team member, client, and partner knows they can come to.
-
Keeping oversight across all active projects and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
-
Facilitating strong internal communication between creative, production, editorial, and business development teams.
-
Being physically present and available in the Amsterdam office, anchoring the team and maintaining the studio's daily rhythm.
Creative and Content Production
-
Supporting and overseeing the production of branded content, editorial projects, events, and influencer campaigns across multiple European markets.
-
Contributing a strong creative sensibility to internal briefings, partner presentations, and content planning.
-
Understanding the publishing and media landscape well enough to add value in editorial conversations and production decisions.
Marketing and Communications
-
Bringing experience in marketing and brand communications to support client relationships, new business development, and studio positioning.
-
Contributing to outreach campaigns, proposal development, and the way we present ourselves to partners and clients.
-
Helping maintain a consistent and credible voice for Glass Creative Studio across all channels and touchpoints.
Finance and Administration
-
Supporting financial oversight, including budget tracking, invoicing, cost management, and supplier coordination.
-
Ensuring that contracts, agreements, and administrative processes are handled accurately and on time.
-
A strong financial background is a significant advantage.
What you bring
-
Extensive experience in a creative, media, or cultural production environment, ideally in a studio, agency, or publisher context.
-
A background in marketing, communications, or brand strategy, with a genuine understanding of how creative work connects to business outcomes.
-
Proven ability to build, implement, and improve operational processes in a fast moving, multi-project environment.
-
Strong financial literacy and comfort working with budgets, invoices, and cost tracking.
-
An exceptional ability to connect people, manage expectations, and keep complex projects on track simultaneously.
-
Deep roots in Amsterdam's nightlife and cultural scene, with an active network across music, arts, events, and creative communities.
-
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, you don't wait to be asked, you see what needs to happen and you make it happen.
-
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, written and verbal.
-
Comfort in a lean team environment where initiative, accountability, and flexibility are essential.
-
An eye for quality and a strong sense of what 'good' looks like across creative output, client communication, and studio culture.
-
Exceptional people skills: you bring out the best in the people around you, recognise individual strengths, and actively create the conditions for your team to thrive.
-
We work with a young, talented team. You are the enabler: the person who sees what each individual is capable of and creates the space, structure, and support to get the maximum out of their capacities.
-
A natural mentor and team builder who invests in people, gives clear and constructive feedback, and makes everyone around them sharper, more confident, and more effective.
